Companion Items

Items can be added to other items as companions.  You could setup a 'Petrol' item for example and add it as a companion to a 'Vehicle' item.  When you select the vehicle on the invoice you are prompted with a second screen that asks if you wish to add any of the companion items as well.

How to add companion items

1. Open an existing item or add a new item.
2. Click the Companions tab in the Items window.
3. Click Add Companion Item, and select an item to add as a companion.
   You can add as many companions as you like.

Auto Add Setting

Setting Auto Add to Yes will automatically select the companion item when the you are prompted with Item Companions on the booking/invoice.

When you select an item on a booking/invoice that has a companion, you are prompted with the following Item Companions screen.  All auto-add companions are automatically checked.

Check the items you wish to add to the invoice then click OK.
