Service and Repairs

This allows you to enter the service or repair details for an item (equipment).  These details should be recorded for occupational health and safety reasons and to ensure that your equipment is kept in safe and good working order.

How to add a New Service and Repair Record

  1. From the Main Menu, click Maintenance, then Service & Repairs.
This opens a list of items to select from.
Note:  You cannot track service and repairs on items that have the Quantity For Hire field set to higher than one in the items setup.
  2. Select the Item to service or repair.
This opens the Items window and takes you straight to the Service & Repairs tab.
  3. Click the New Service button located at the bottom left side of the window.
This opens the Maintenance Records window.

  4. The Service Date defaults to today's date.  Adjust if necessary.

    Examples:
400 Hour Service, Replace Boom Hydraulics, 1000km Service, 5000km Service.
